How much does your balloons/decor cost?

Our balloons come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and colors.  We specialize in classic decor to include arches, columns, bouquets and custom sculptures.  Because each job varies in size and complexity, we work with all budgets big and small, one party at a time to create the perfect decor for your event.

What are your payment terms?  Do I need to make a deposit?  What type of payments do you accept?

A deposit, percentage based on the amount of work we will be doing, is required immediately upon the signing of an event contract.  Full payment for the balance due is required to be paid in full, 7 days prior to your event, unless other arrangements have been made.  We accept personal and business checks made out to Davis Design & Decor, and cash.  (Call for applicable discounts when paying with cash.)

My event is outdoors; how will the weather affect my balloon decor?  Can you guarantee outdoor decor?

Georgia weather does take a toll on outdoor balloons, especially the wind and heat.  Since we use only Qualatex balloons, our decor is more durable and can withstand most outdoor elements.

All balloons degrade outside.  Although we have many designs for outdoor decor and will have your decor looking its best at the time it is assembled, we cannot guarantee outdoor decor.

We do suggest that when choosing a color scheme for your outside decor that you will choose Jewel-Tone colors.  Outside elements cause these balloons to velvetize and will produce a deep, rich finish.

Do you have a retail store?  What are your hours of operation?

We operate out of a studio/workshop and thus do not have regular store hours.  We can arrange to set up an appointment to discuss and plan your event decor options at your studio or at your event site.

Will you schedule a consultation to meet with me?  Is there a cost for this?  Can we meet at the event site?

We offer free consultations by appointment only at our studio/workshop in Reidsville or at the site of your event.  Both daytime and evening appointments are available.  We prefer to meet with you at the event location as this enables us to visualize your event and suggest color and decor options.

How long do your balloons last?

Our decor is built to suit your specific event needs.  Air work balloon designs can last for days or weeks.  We extend the float time of our helium balloons with an industry product called ultra hi-float.  Outside decor is sometimes affect by elements over which we have no control.

Our delivery bouquets include a variety of specialty balloons.  Some of them will still be enjoyed by the recipient 7-14 days after the delivery.

How early should I contact you to book decor for my party or special event?

After you have secured the event date and site, call us to set up an appointment to secure our services for that day and time.  Once we have this information, we will be in a better position to discuss decor options and finalize details of your event.

Most clients secure our services as soon as possible to guarantee that they get on our schedule.  We have planned decor for events 6 months away to as little as 2 weeks away.

Delivery bouquets need to be placed at least 48 hours in advance.

Can I see samples of your work?  Will you make a prototype of "my" event design?

Absolutely!!  You can see many samples of our work on our website.  Also, at your scheduled appointment we will have our portfolio and "idea" books we can share with you.  Davis Design & Decor will create a prototype, if needed, when the event has been booked.  Prototypes are made to assure the client of the overall vision being created to ensure a successful event.

In addition to balloons, what other services do you offer?  Can candle lights be used in your designs?  Can you provide balloons with my copy or picture?

We can create designs incorporating candles in centerpieces or lights in our decor as long as we meet the event venue's guidelines.

We offer special effects like confetti poppers or cannons, twinkling lights, fog machines, bubble machines, fabric draping, silk and fresh flowers, greenery, custom made signs for candle lightings, sign in boards and backdrops, wedding bubble favors and assorted party favors.  Just ask us if you don't see something you might need listed here.

You can also order imprinted balloons and other available advertising products imprinted with your logo or copy.  These are perfect for weddings, reunions, trade shows, grand openings, birthdays and fundraising events.

Do you charge extra for delivery and teardown for decor work?

There is a 10% design, delivery and installation service charge on all decor contracts.  Bouquet delivery charges will depend on the service area.  (Call for these fees)

If contracted, Davis Design & Decor can return for a teardown/strike of your event decor for a nominal fee.

Do you have a minimum order?  Do you deliver bouquets for special occasions or do you just provide balloon decor?  Do you deliver in my area?

We deliver specialty bouquets for all reasons, (birthday, get well, anniversary, I love you, congratulations, etc.), throughout South East Georgia.  Bouquets for delivery range from $35 to $100 and are delivered Monday through Friday.  Delivery fees vary depending on your area.

Special Event decor minimums are as follows:

$100 Monday through Thursday

$150 Friday through Sunday

Are latex balloons biodegradable?  What happens to balloons that fly away?  Are sea mammals at risk?

The answers to these and other questions can be found here.  In short:  Yes, they're biodegradable.  Balloons that fly away rise into the upper atmosphere where they shatter and no, sea mammals are not at risk from balloons.
